How to apply to become a shareholder

Before you apply

You should read the latest CRT Investment Statement below before committing to joining CRT, this provide you with more details about CRT shareholder membership, including the rules and conditions of shareholding.

How much does it cost?

  • The cost of shareholding is $500, only $200 of which is an initial cash outlay - an investment that new shareholders usually get back in savings and rebates within a very short period of time.
  • All share capital is redeemable upon resigning from the society.
  • An annual fee is charged on the 1 February statement - $15 (plus GST) for each of the first two cards per account.  Additional cards are free.

How long does it take to become a member?

Your application will be processed within two weeks and if it is approved we will then forward you a shareholder welcome pack, including your new CRT Card(s) so that you can begin using our services and suppliers.
