Like any business, it's all about people. CRT just happens to have the best of them, with a South Island wide team of 65 on-farm advisors. These technical field officers, or TFO's, work in closely with CRT FarmCentre staff to provide shareholders with the best possible advice about their farm input needs
TFO's are carefully selected for the knowledge and experience they will bring to their roles.
They're there to support CRT's other divisions to provide the right product at the right time at the best possible price.
CRT's technical field officers are in demand throughout the South Island, so it's a bit of a balancing act sometimes. That's why our FarmCentre staff are also selected for their farming knowledge, so there are alternative information pathways for our smaller scale farmers who only require occasional specialist knowledge.
You'll be able to easily identify CRT's technical field officers from their distinctive white signwritten utes. We know they're easily seen – it's not unknown for our shareholders to flag them down as they approach!
